It is believed to be the place where Emperor Ashoka, moved by the devastation caused by the Kalinga War, embraced Buddhism and became a promoter of non-violence.

Dhauli House is structured with the same serenity and strength that characterize Dhauli Stupa. Just as the stupa stands as a symbol of peace and transformation, the house is founded on principles of unity, introspection, and growth. Dhauli House mirrors the stupa’s gentle strength, focus on peace, and capacity for transformation.
