Welcome to Sainik School Sambalpur — a cradle of leadership, character, and patriotism.

It is my proud privilege to serve as the Principal of this esteemed institution, which stands as a vital link in India’s chain of premier Sainik Schools. Established with the core aim of preparing cadets for entry into the National Defence Academy, our school instills the spirit of nation-building in each cadet.

At Sainik School Sambalpur, we believe education extends far beyond books and classrooms. It is about shaping a strong mind, a strong body, and a strong spirit. Our mission is not only to nurture academically competent students but also to develop confident, responsible, and disciplined leaders with a deep sense of service to the nation.

Our academic programmes are rigorous yet holistic, giving equal emphasis on sports, adventure, leadership training, and character development. The National Cadet Corps (NCC), physical training, and regular exposure to military culture are integral parts of our cadets’ lives — instilling in them values of integrity, duty, and resilience.

We are committed to maintaining a secure, inclusive, and empowering environment for our cadets. Our dedicated faculty and staff constantly strive to ensure that every cadet receives the attention, encouragement, and mentorship needed to reach their full potential.

I thank the Ministry of Defence, the Sainik Schools Society, the Odisha State Government and all stakeholders for their unwavering support and guidance. I also extend my appreciation to parents who have entrusted us with the great responsibility of educating and nurturing their children.
