Reservation For Admission - Sainik School Sambalpur

प्रवेश हेतु आरक्षण – सैनिक स्कूल संबलपुर

  1. 67% of the seats in each Sainik School are reserved for candidates from the State/UT in which the Sainik School is located, and 33% of the seats are reserved for candidates from other States/UTs. For the purpose of seat allocation, two lists are prepared: List A (for candidates from the Home State/UT) and List B (for candidates from other States/UTs). The qualified candidates from the Home State/UT and other than Home State/UT are arranged in order of merit, according to their category, under List A and List B, respectively. The candidates will be allotted seats according to the percentage of reservation specified in Para (b) and (c) below.

  2. Firstly, within each list (List A and List B, i.e., under both Home State/UT and Other States/UT), 15% of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 27% for Other Backward Classes- Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL). The reservation for the OBC-NCL category will be considered as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website www.ncbc.nic.in, as on the first day of the month in which the Online Admission Form process begins.

  3. Out of the remaining seats, 25% of the seats within each list (List A and List B, i.e., under both Home State/UT and Other States/UT) are reserved for children of service personnel, including ex-servicemen (Defence category). The remaining seats are reserved for children belonging to the General category under both Home State/UT (List A) and Other States/UT (List B).

  4. Distribution of Seats under “Other States/UT Quota”: Seats under the “Other States/UT” quota in all categories (i.e., SC, ST, OBC-NCL, Defence, and General) in List B will be distributed to candidates based on merit. However, candidates from a particular State/UT will not exceed 25% of the total vacancies in these categories. After allocating the seats under all five categories in the Other States/UT quota (List B) to the candidates as per merit and the 25% seat proportion per State/UT, the balance unutilized seats will be filled by candidates from the Home State/UT (List A) in the corresponding category.

  5. Distribution of Seats for Girl Candidates in Class VI: In Class VI, the total number of boys and girls under each category shall not exceed the prescribed limit of reservation under that category. The authorized strength of the school should not be exceeded either. One seat per category for girls will be ensured. In this regard, 10% of the strength of Class VI or 10 seats (whichever is higher) will be reserved for girl candidates in any school, in order to cater to all categories.

  2. पहले, प्रत्येक सूची (सूची A और सूची B, यानी, घर राज्य/संघ राज्य क्षेत्र और अन्य राज्य/संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के तहत), कुल सीटों का 15% अनुसूचित जातियों (SC) के लिए, 7.5% अनुसूचित जनजातियों (ST) के लिए और 27% अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग-नॉन क्रीमी लेयर (OBC-NCL) के लिए आरक्षित हैं। OBC-NCL श्रेणी के लिए आरक्षण केंद्रीय सूची के अनुसार माना जाएगा, जो राष्ट्रीय पिछड़ा वर्ग आयोग (NCBC), भारत सरकार की वेबसाइट www.ncbc.nic.in पर उपलब्ध है, जैसा कि उस महीने के पहले दिन होगा जब ऑनलाइन प्रवेश फॉर्म प्रक्रिया शुरू होती है।

  4. “अन्य राज्य/संघ राज्य क्षेत्र कोटा के तहत सीटों का वितरण”: “अन्य राज्य/संघ राज्य क्षेत्र” कोटे के तहत सभी श्रेणियों (जैसे SC, ST, OBC-NCL, रक्षा और सामान्य) की सीटें सूची B में उम्मीदवारों को मेरिट के आधार पर वितरित की जाएंगी। हालांकि, किसी विशेष राज्य/संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के उम्मीदवारों को इन श्रेणियों में कुल रिक्तियों का 25% से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए। अन्य राज्य/संघ राज्य क्षेत्र कोटा (सूची B) में सभी पांच श्रेणियों के तहत सीटों का आवंटन करने के बाद, शेष अप्रयुक्त सीटों को घर राज्य/संघ राज्य क्षेत्र (सूची A) के उम्मीदवारों द्वारा संबंधित श्रेणी में भरा जाएगा।

  5. कक्षा VI में लड़की उम्मीदवारों के लिए सीटों का वितरण: कक्षा VI में, प्रत्येक श्रेणी के तहत लड़कों और लड़कियों की कुल संख्या उस श्रेणी के तहत निर्धारित आरक्षण सीमा से अधिक नहीं हो सकती। स्कूल की अधिकृत क्षमता भी अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए। लड़कियों के लिए प्रत्येक श्रेणी में एक सीट सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। इस संबंध में, कक्षा VI की क्षमता का 10% या 10 सीटें (जो भी अधिक हो) किसी भी स्कूल में लड़की उम्मीदवारों के लिए आरक्षित की जाएंगी, ताकि सभी श्रेणियों को कवर किया जा सके।
