Service Officers

There are three service officers in each school. The Principal, holding the rank of Colonel or its equivalent, serves as the academic and administrative head of the school and is responsible to the Board of Governors and the Local Board of Administration for its efficient functioning. The Principal is assisted by the Vice Principal and the Administrative Officer, both holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or an equivalent rank. The Vice Principal heads the academic faculty and is directly responsible to the Principal for the training, education, and discipline of the students. The Administrative Officer is responsible to the Principal for all administrative and logistic (Q) duties.

प्रत्येक स्कूल में तीन सेवा अधिकारी होते हैं। प्राचार्य, जो कर्नल या समकक्ष रैंक के होते हैं, स्कूल के शैक्षणिक और प्रशासनिक प्रमुख होते हैं और स्कूल के सुचारू संचालन के लिए गवर्निंग बोर्ड तथा स्थानीय प्रशासनिक बोर्ड के प्रति उत्तरदायी होते हैं। प्राचार्य की सहायता उप-प्राचार्य और प्रशासनिक अधिकारी करते हैं, जिनकी रैंक लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल या समकक्ष होती है। उप-प्राचार्य शैक्षणिक संकाय के प्रमुख होते हैं और विद्यार्थियों के प्रशिक्षण, शिक्षा और अनुशासन के लिए सीधे प्राचार्य के प्रति उत्तरदायी होते हैं। प्रशासनिक अधिकारी सभी प्रशासनिक और लॉजिस्टिक (क्यू) कार्यों के लिए प्राचार्य के प्रति उत्तरदायी होते हैं।
